To apply for your Russian Visa,

You will need the following items

Russian business invitation

1. Passport

passport must be valid for another 6 months after the visa has expired. The passport must have at least 1 blank page to attach the visa.

2. Passport photo

One recently taken passport size photo. Photo must be taken against a white background with your features clearly visible.

3. Invitation

The invitation must come either from a Russian Travel Agency, from the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives. World TravelVisa are licensed to provide the required invitation supporting documents.

4. Visa application form

A fully completed visa application is required.

5. Self-employed applicants

For self-employed applicants bank statements covering the last 3 months are required. Please note that the Russian embassy will only accept original documents.

6. Business Visas Only

A covering letter of introduction from the company you are going on behalf of. On its official company headed paper, confirming your position within the company as well as outlining your business intentions in Russia and travel details, must be provided.

Visa registration

Russian law requires the registration of the visa for a stay in Russia for more than 7 business days. If travelers are staying in Russia more than 7 business days then they must apply for registration immediately upon arrival (on the same day).

Travelers who do not have their visas registered will pay fines when attempting to exit Russia or being stopped by the police.

• If you are staying at a hotel, the hotel will register your visa

• If you are staying at an apartment you will have to apply to the Local Migration Department (OVIR) to have your visa registered
